The 29th edition of International Management Conclave, organized by Indore Management Association, was concluded recently. Conducted over the course of two days, 17 and 18 January, IMA’s annual flagship event saw about 1000 leading CEOs and management professionals and about 3000 management students participating in the theme “$ 5 Trillion Economy: Vision to Reality” where the 25 business expert speakers spoke on various themes and views.
Anu Aga, businesswoman and Rajya Sabha member was awarded Lifetime Achievement Award on 17th and she was the key note speaker for the same.
The second day’s star speaker , Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari spoke to the management students on how leadership and entrepreneurship skill Cn be developed through the combination of knowledge, vision, experience and decision taking capability.
Various other speakers included Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-In-Chief-India TV, Swami Nikhileshwarananda-Ramakrishna Ashram, Rajkot, Deepak Satwalekar, Venture advisor-Nexus Venture Partners, Keerthi Kumar Jain, Co-founder & chief executive officer-AnyTimeloan.In, Harvinder Singh, Country manager-United Airline India, PK Gupta, MD-SBI, Dilip Gaur, MD-Grasim India Ltd & Head, Global Pulp And Fibre Business-Aditiya Birla Group, Mahendra Kumar Chouhan, Chairman-Mahendra & Young Knowledge Foundation, Rishi Nitya Pragya, Director Programmes-Art of Living, Lieutenant Gen PJS Pannu- Deputy Chief of Integrated Defence Staff Operations, to name a few.
The curtain raiser for the event was done on 5th January where Indian lyricist and Singer, Swanand Kirkire performed and launched this edition of Conclave.
Mudit Thakkar, Founder-CEO, Edo Square, city-based technological training firm, presented their robots “Avishkar” and “Maitri” who showcased the growth of AI and technology in India. Both the robots interacted with the participants, provided them with conclave information and also introduced the guest speakers in some cases, on the dias, making them the first ever robots of India to come officially on a professional stage/ event.
