The fourth series of Hriday Drishyam Music Festival 2020 performed at Minto Hall, Ravindra Bhavan, Bharat Bhavan, and Iqbal Maidan
Chief Minister Shri Kamal Nath has said that music interconnects each other. He called for an effort to carry forward the musical legacy. He was inaugurating the fourth series of Hriday Drishyam Music Festival 2020 at Minto Hall. On this occasion Mr. David J. Ranz, the Consul General in the American Consulate. Culture Minister Dr. Vijayalakshmi Sadho, Public Relations Minister Shri P.C. Sharma, Principal Secretary Culture Mr. Pankaj Rag, Secretary Tourism Mr. Faiz Ahmed Kidwai, Jazz Artist Joe Alveres were present.
Hriday Drishyam had made an significant impact through different art performances since last three years and the event featured renowned artists like Pt Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Pt Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Amjad Ali Khan, Penaz Masani, Hariharan, Niladri, Amaan & Ayaan Ali Khan, Bhupinder & Mitali, Rakesh Chaurasia, Joe Alvares, Shefali, Sabri Bros, Rajasthan Folk Troupes, Golpe Tiera (USA), and Diwan Saz (Israel), Rahul Sharma, and many more. Mark the date and enjoy the beautiful performances by Hidayat Khan (Classical), Lydian (Piano), Sheefali (Bolly-jazz), Chandan Das (Gazals), Anuradha Pal Stree Shakti (All Girls Band), Guillaume Baraud (World Music, France), Joe Alvares (Jazz/Kathak/Flamenco), and Mame Khan (Sufi, folk).
Minto Hall, Bharat Bhawan, Ravindra Bhavan and Iqbal Maidan adorned the music and music of Qawwali under the Hriday Darsham ceremony. Piano player Lydian Nadaswaram performed at Ravindra Bhavan.
The audience was thrilled to see the music practice of 14-year-old child. On this occasion, he performed Indian classical music, Jazz and Western music in about half an hour. He said that whenever he play an instrument and the sounds that come out, they make him happy. This is the music for me, which gives happiness. I started learning to play instruments when I was two years old. I can play 15 instruments. I play western instruments as well as Indian rhythm instruments, including Piano, Drums, Tabla, Mridangam, Guitar etc. The presentation was completed by bringing Digital Pianos if the Piano went bad during the presentation. The beautiful and historic city of lakes, Bhopal is all set to host the event.
The following morning there were presentations titled Namaste Flamenco. On this occasion, artists of Spain performed dances such as Aligrias, Bullerias, Tangos, Taranto, Soleya, Solea por Bulleria etc. in one hour. It has more than 55 small styles, of which 12 are introduced. Sagging pointed out that all the styling has its own history, reflecting different parts of Spain. It focuses on war, happiness opportunities or historical changes.
He said that I have been working in India for the last 8 months with colleagues from Spain. It is named Namaste Flamenco. In the presentation we introduced the Pure Flamenco Dance. We have Indian classical music like Kathak, Bharatanatyam etc. Hidayat Khan's sitar at Minto Hall and Chandan Das presented Ghazals at the Iqbal Maidan.
